sounds really nice.  But what really matters, it's Karl opinion, not mine.

Well, FSF likes to keep the rights to the GNU sources.
So it would probably be easier to require tbook then to copy'n'paste,
at least at this stage.

Unfortunately, I cannot afford to help with this, though I'd surely
enjoy learning XSLT.

But if you encounter weird behaviour on the (La)TeX end, I'll be happy
help with debugging.  But I won't be generally available, from 24.12.
to 31.12.
